School Holiday TAIKO Programme (for Primary School Students)
Enroll your kid in Hibikiya 1st School Holiday Kid Taiko Course to experience Japanese taiko experience!
In this 2-session-course, participants will learn Japanese greeting manner for Japanese cultural activity, taiko basics rhymthms, different ways of playing taiko, how to play taiko as a team and a short presentation to conclude the taiko short course.
The participants will
π have some cultural exposure/learning/understanding
π learn something very new
π learn how to play Taiko, Japanese Drums
π enjoy playing together with new friends
π go through the process of creating performance as one team (team work)
The program will be:
Tuesday, 8 December 2020, 14:00 - 15:00
Introduction, warm up, taiko basic practices, rhythms and movements
Thursday, 10 December 2020, 14:00 - 15:30
Warm up, rhythms and movements, rehearsal
actual presenntation in costume (happi jacket)
We will take a video and share with all the participants so that the family can enjoy the performance.
Once a payment is made, it is non-refundable.
Participant should wear sports attire, bring your towel and water bottle.
No skirt, no accessories, no cap / hat, no watches.
